West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band
Es war eine total verrückte, immer gegen den Strom schwimmende,
experimentierfreudige Band bestehend aus genialen Musikern. Produziert
von Bob Markley, Sohn eines Öl Millionärs, und musikalisch geführt von
den Söhnen eines Komponisten Ehepaares, Shaun and Danny Harris. Sie
mixten den Sound der Beach Boys, der Beatles, der Yardbirds und was
sonst noch so alles Mitte der 60er Jahre populär war, zu eigenständigen
Songs. Leicht gewohnheitsbedürftig, aber mit etwas Sinn für
musikalischen Humor - genial!
Interessant was aus den Leuten wurde:
Michael Lloyd - Produzent von Dirty Dancing
Shaun Harris - Präsident von Barry Manilow's Public Relation Firma
Danny Harris - wanderte nach Schweden aus und wurde Alkohol und
Drogenberater
Ron Morgan - spielte bei den Three Dog Night und Electric Prunes, wurde
bei einem Motorradunfall schwer verletzt, bekam Hepatitis C und starb im
Alter von 44 Jahren 1989
Bob Markley - zog sich aus dem Musikgeschäft zurück und wurde als
geistig krank in ein Heim eingeliefert.
