Love Sculpture und der Sabre Dance

1967 in Cardiff gegründet, brachte 1968 ihren ersten und einzigen Nummer 1 Hit in GB heraus. Den Säbeltanz von Khachaturian, gespielt auf einer wahnsinnigen Gitarre von Dave Edmunds. Love Sculpture vermischte Rock und Blues mit Klassik. Mit Bizet, Chuck Berry, Gershwin und Freddy King, kamen alle einmal ran. Zwei Platten, eine USA Tour und Love Scupture waren Rockgeschichte. John Williams begegnete man noch einmal bei Titanic, Bob Jones hatte Gastspiele bei Mike Bloomfield, Brewer & Shipley, Mississippi Frank McDowell, Tim Rose, Otis Rush und Southern Comfort, Dave Edmunds schließlich gründete Rockpile und startete eine Solo Karriere. Später folgten noch einige Platten unter dem Namen Dave Edmunds Love Sculpture.
